AI-Ready Workforce Education
Practical learning for people doing real work with AI.
AI capability does not come from access alone. This work helps professionals connect AI tools to their roles, build the judgment to use them responsibly, and apply them to credible business problems.
Virginia Tech MBA collaboration
With Dr. Viswanath Venkatesh, Fabio is creating a Virginia Tech MBA course on data visualization and AI-assisted business analysis. The Defensible Decision will be used as its textbook. Its Starbucks AI-Driven BI Capstone shows how learners frame, analyze, and defend a business-intelligence recommendation with AI assistance. It is an independent educational project and is not affiliated with Starbucks.
How the learning is designed
Role-relevant practice
Learning starts with the work people actually need to do - analyze, decide, communicate, and build - not generic tool demonstrations.
Applied judgment
Participants learn to frame a task, test AI output against evidence, disclose relevant use, and improve a result before it is put to work.
Visible growth
Assessments, reflective practice, and adoption research make progress and readiness visible so learning can improve over time.
